It appears so. As much as I love the Slamther, I can’t wait to get cracking on Project Farva come July.

I don’t see why not. There are suspension solutions available, and a hydraulic e-brake isn’t exactly expensive.

Shave 400lbs, replace rear air springs and front coils with something lower and tighter from coilsprings.com, already got the Bilsteins, swap in addco swaybars, swap out 4r70w with t5, install 8.8 traclok off an explorer, then probably MZT and swapping in PI heads and a tune from lonnie at BoC and such... A little rich for my broke ass, but I’ll get there. One piece at a time.

You really don’t need to do all that. I’m running dirt track G-body front springs on my 96 and they’re rather low at the front. Diameter is within tolerance, and there’s plenty of preload. Mine were a good deal used, but if you want off the shelf, i’d recommend these or equivalent. The Mustang rear springs I have on required a bunch of grinding on the perches, so to make things easier, Moog CC615 or equivalent would fit pretty damn well. That will give you about a 2" drop in the back and a 3" drop in the front, and spring rates of around 800 lb/in all around. Stiff springs and high stress have a good chance of blowing the factory bilsteins right out of the water, so KYB Gas-A-Justs it is (a case of do as I say, not as I currently do).
Next, I’d take out the front seats, and replace them with whatever’s in the most F&F-style Civic in the yard. You’ll have to find a way to sort out the seat rails, but it’s worth it. While you’re at the junkyard, grab the entire rear end assembly (pumpkin, half-shafts, hubs, intake yoke, etc.) from a Grand Marquis with the Class III tow pack but without “traction assist” as these cars either had a 3.27 or a 3.55, in both cases traction-lok.
4R70W will hold it good enough, and you don’t need to mess with the engine. Throw in a Hydraulic E-brake (Preferably legit, like an ASD), tow straps, and a fire extinguisher.
You now have every hardware upgrade you really need to go drifting, and it’s all less than $850.

No problem! Also, I’m running about 550 lb/in front, 375 lb/in rear. 800/800 would be so planted, but Lotus levels of firm.

Oh okay. I wasn’t sure if maybe you took it the vid. But it looks an awful lot like the little AutoX course they setup there during some of the big car shows.
